Partner responsibilities

• Own the downstream client relationship and first-line communication.
• Collect source artifacts from downstream clients.
• Confirm the downstream client has permission to submit the artifacts.
• Submit approved artifacts into the agreed partner path.
• Handle reviewer handoff using the package and guidance AttestLayer provides.

AttestLayer responsibilities

• Run deterministic PASS/FAIL processing under the agreed partner lane.
• Issue the signed verification kit on PASS.
• Return exact blocker output on FAIL.
• Provide the public verification path and registry-linked proof material where applicable.
• Support the agreed operating lane for billing, reliability, and abuse handling.

How the handoff works

The partner owns the downstream conversation. AttestLayer owns the deterministic processing and issued output. Reviewers should receive the structured PASS kit or exact FAIL blocker list, not an improvised explanation.
